Malmö Borgarskola sent a delegation of thirteen PrIB students (and six IB1:s as chairs) to Model United Nations of Lübeck 2016. The conference, which took place from May 30 through June 4, was the 19th annual conference arranged by Thomas Mann School in Lübeck.
Eleven of the participating students ended up main submitting resolutions with one going to the General Assembly held at the Lübeck Handwerkskammer on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, several of the PrIB students received Most Distinguished and Best Delegate awards at the end of the conference.
This year’s topic – The Changing Face of Conflict – gave the students an opportunity to discuss political issues with a global span, ranging from resource allocations to nuclear proliferation.
Malmö Borgarskola is proud of what our students accomplish in Lübeck, year after year. We look forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary of MUNOL next year!
